Reporting, in the open

How Our TDLR Reporting Actually Works

Here's exactly what happens between finishing your course and your hours landing on TDLR's books — including how to check the state's records yourself.

TDLR-Approved
Provider #2273

Completed → Filed → Confirmed

From your last lesson to the state's books

  1. 01

    You finish your course

Your certificate is issued instantly — it's on your certificate page, attached to your completion email, and carries a scannable verification code any employer can check.

  2. 02

    We file with TDLR electronically

We report your completion to TDLR within 24 hours as provider #2273 — filed every day, including weekends and holidays.

  3. 03

The state confirms — and we capture the proof

When TDLR accepts the filing, our system verifies the acceptance and captures the TDLR confirmation number. That number goes into your confirmation email and onto your records here.

  4. 04

    You can verify it yourself

Your hours appear on TDLR's own CE history for your license. We show you exactly where to look — you never have to take our word for it.

No black box

Live status on your dashboard

Your completions show their filing status in My Courses — from the moment you finish to the state's confirmation.

A confirmation email with the receipt

When your filing is on TDLR's books you get a second email with the TDLR confirmation number and the actual time between finishing and filing.

A certificate anyone can verify

Your certificate carries a scannable verification code. The verification page shows the filing record — an employer never has to take a PDF on faith.

Don't take our word for it

Check the state's own records

TDLR publishes every license holder's CE history. To see yours:

  1. Open TDLR's Continuing Education Course Search
  2. Search by your license number.
  3. Click “View All Courses” — this is the step everyone misses. The first screen doesn't show your full history.
  4. Look for our provider number, #2273, next to your course.

TDLR's public page can lag the actual filing by a few hours. Your confirmation email is the authoritative receipt — and if anything ever looks off, contact us and a person will check your filing against TDLR's records.

Common Questions

Common questions

Q.01When is my completion reported to TDLR?

We report your completion electronically to TDLR within 24 hours of finishing your course — every day of the week, including weekends and holidays. You'll get a confirmation email the moment your filing is on the state's books.

Q.02How do I know the report actually went through?

Three ways. Your dashboard shows the filing status of your completions. Your confirmation email carries the filing receipt — with the TDLR confirmation number whenever the state's acceptance returns one. And you can verify it yourself, independent of us, on TDLR's own Continuing Education Course Search — search your license number and click "View All Courses."

Q.03I checked TDLR's site and don't see my course yet. Should I worry?

Usually not. TDLR's public CE search can lag the actual filing by a few hours. If you have your confirmation email, the filing is on the state's books. Make sure you clicked "View All Courses" on TDLR's search — the first screen doesn't show everything. If it's been more than a day past your confirmation email and you still don't see it, contact us and a person will check your filing against TDLR's records.

Q.04What happens if a filing hits a problem?

It stops and a person looks at it. Our system never re-files automatically when an outcome is uncertain, because a blind retry could duplicate your credit on TDLR's books. A human verifies against TDLR's records first, then resolves it. Your completion record is permanent either way — your credit can't be silently lost.

Q.05What if TDLR's system is down — or changes?

Rare, but it happens. Your course completion date is locked the moment you finish — and that's the date TDLR credits, so a filing delay never affects your renewal. We file as soon as the state's system is available again, within the seven-day reporting window TDLR's own rules set (16 TAC §59.51(e)). Your certificate stays available the whole time, and your dashboard shows the filing status throughout.

Q.06Does reporting cost extra?

No. TDLR reporting is included in the one course price — no reporting fees, no certificate fees, no add-ons of any kind.
